Can you buy a "No Claim Bonus"
I know this is a Stupid Query, but is it possible to say "buy" a statement saying that "so and so has had no claims for the past 4 years" or something??
I asked a friend recently, and he said it was possible. Can someone PLEASE explain!!

No you cannot.
The insurance is with the person who buys it for the vehicle they own.
When the vehicle is sold, a new insurance policy needs to be bought by the buyer.
Unless you plan to buy the vehicle in the name of someone else who has the NCB, there is no way to do this.

If you have a NCB, Once you sell your Vehicle & the buyer transfers the insurance to his name. You can claim the NCB.
Also you can transfer the NCB to other vehicle which you buy in your name
