I don't think that the Marindra's family grill iteration suits the Logan, er.. Verito pretty well. Would've loved to see some serious changes with this re-launch. But well, looks like they lost the opportunity! Dual tone interiors, an integrated music player, an all new steering wheel that looks interesting and has steering mounted controls would've made a lot of difference!

So for now, even the length remains unaltered. Wonder why the brochure hides the boot in the side-profile pic. May be Verito CS is round the corner.

They should have at least given it a new grille, than just slapping the new logo on it. Lazy guys.

Pricing looks good ! But even the top end doesnt get ACC ? May not be at this price. What I liked is that the middle variant gets ABS as well. I for one want at least ABS in my cars. And for me the Logan had really boring grey interiors and was a huge let down. Looks like Mahindra addressed the problem well. I see some wood finishes in the central console and looks good in the brochure !!

I would have preferred the dual reverse light instead ! Doesnt look like that also is addressed. And how about the controls ? Its all still in place the exact same way?

Absolutely no changes to front and rear taillamps. What's with the cladding and roof rails? I don't see a shorter car either?

I for once liked the Fog Lamps in the front bumper and the Ski racks. It makes it look sporty. Also the Rear End looks much bettery with the newer additions.
Well must say that Mahindra is too lazy, else they should have fixed the Ugly looking Wiper.
I hope that the new exterior treatments can be applied to our Renault Logan's without much a do.

What's the antonym of beautification?

I think the Verito will make the resale value of my Logan go up :P

Couldn't they have kept it simple? But no, the walrus tooth has to be there!

Does chauvinism really work as a marketing ploy in these modern days? Ok! I see what you mean - SX4 did that too!

Edit: ^^ Is that a PS job mate - you just beat the M&M design team's months of work in two minutes flat!! Copyright it. (In case you didn't notice, they have given the walrus tooth a skip for once.)

Well i think majority of changes are just cosmetic which i think was not expected at all. Although Renault have withdrawn from the JV but Mahindra continues to use the same heart under the hood. One reason for just cosmetic upgrade could be that in time to come Mahindra would get their In-house team to develop this vehicle with major changes in looks department plus a New Heart.
One Question from my side, Xylo mini which is being tested has a 1.5 ltr diesel engine can the same find its way in Verito at a later or its too big to fit under the hood ?

It is photoshopped. Its easier on the computer than literal execution. I am sure Mahindra would have come up with something even better, but imho, cost constraints are coming into play here. By retaining the existing bumper, they saved money on new dies for new bumpers, which they must be making ready for the upcoming 'final' refresh.
