| BANNED | OK let me start off by saying if this topic already exists, then I request the Mods to merge the thread. Riding home last night, stuck in a traffic jam(as usual), I was looking around and saw a whole plethora of different registration plates around me, you know... some saying MH 01/MH 22, MP 09 etc etc. I was just wondering if anyone out there knows the criteria that the RTO authorities use to actually dole out these numbers I know that the 01's are generally for the State capital's, like Bombay has 01, but then whats the logic from then on? Is it the Size of the town that would warrant the next number? Is it just done on random or is there any logic whatsoever. Cheers! |
