Default Mitsubishi Pick-Up caught testing on Expressway!

Posting on behalf of V12.

Spotted a Mitsubishi Pick-up testing on the expressway. The car had "TC" registration which is also known as "Test-Car". The headlights were like the Mitsubishi Cedia. And it was darkblue in color.

Are we getting the L200 Warrior in India? If they do, its success will solely depend on its pricing. Price it in the region of 8-10 L and it will have a realistic chance of success. If they go on charging a premium on it as they do with their other offerings (old Pajero, Lancer) , it will be yet another failure for them..

Which brings up an interesting question - How long does it take for a Manufacturer to launch a vehicle, once their test-vehicles hit the road?

I must mention here that i have a soft corner for pickup trucks. :-)

I have a hunch the pickup truck market is waiting to be tapped in India. I feel some well priced vfm pickups will do well.

If it is a Mitsubishi Pickup, I suspect its for the Army.....I dont see a civilian market for expensive pickups. Not an India.

Is this what you saw? Army usually goes for desi products, which means
Mitsu is planning to introduce this for the local market also. Interesting !!!
Ya, me too wondering who's gonna buy such an expensive ute.

Hey, I totally agree with you on this .. this segment is lying silently and as not many options available ( don't count the tata at almost 8 lacs ) people still going and opting for cars !! Even if Tata had priced the new pick up at a better price I'm sure it wud have sold ...

I for one have been waiting for ever to get one of these trucks ... !!!

Cheers

The Mitsu pickup truck looks good, but i don't think they won't sell in large numbers.
