real top speeds of indian cars

Guys alwys these companies promise things and invariably they fail in the delivery of the same, i just wanted to know wht is the real top speedo of your car
- skoda 1.9 tdi - fastest it could manage was 185
- opel corsa sail 1.6 - fastest it coulld got was 170

Guys just update the same with the real topspeed your INDIAN cars could attaain, and please note i would like to know the speeds of normal NON STOCK cars. . .

the actual top speed is not what you see on the speedo meter .It is usually less than what is indicated

the max i managed on the elantra crdi(speedometer) was 190 but as per autocar the max speed is 185(they use more sophisticated instruments to measure the speed)

The folowing are the speedo indicated speeds (speedo error would reduce these by approx 5 %) tha tI have achieved on my cars over the years

Premier Padmini- 105 KPH
Maruti 800 (non-AC)- 120 KPH
daewoo Matiz- 115 KPH
maruti zen MPFI- 135 KPH
hyundai Accent GVS- 165 KPH
ford ikon flair- 145 KPH
tata indica LSI- 145 KPH
tata indica turbo- 120 KPH (still a new car so havent maxed it out yet- at 120 kph, it was running at 3700 RPM in 5th. still had approx 100 rpmto go so i guess going by the gear ratios, should mah out at app. 150)

Non-Indian car- toyota supra turbo- 235 KPH on the expresway between singapore and malaysia.

Toyota Land Cruiser Prado's top speed is only 186. I thought that it can cross 210 easily.

thats a pessimistic list ... data is incorrect ..
first a corsa 1.4 doesnt top at 155 ..the factory claims 172 or 175k's ..
Optra 1.6 is faster than Optra 1.8 ...
Esteem has a better PTWR than swift aint it ? how can it be faster ? ..

thts the whole point, we wanted to know the REAL top speed that WE GUYS have achieved on OUR VEHICLES and NOT the COMPANY CLAIMED TOP SPEEDS.
and the swift is faster than the esteem coz ther is somehting called as aerodynamics and a different chasis, the engine being the same both the vehicles are totally different. . .
