A palio without the 1.3jtd is a lame horse. Plus even the interiors are 2-3 generations old. It certainly is a half-hearted attempt to revive sales.....

I doubt that. As far as I know, only Palio will be getting the face lift.

Yes. out goes 1.2 litre engine and in comes 1.1 litre

I am sure Fiat will the only car maker in India to achieve the unique distinction of launching a revamped version of their car only to see sales plummet even further!

Oh sure. Expect a revamped Adventure sometime in 2010 with the new Palio's exterior's and the current Palio's interiors. Of course, the interiors will do their job because Fiat will price the Adventure against the Logan stationwagon.

today i got a mail on paliousersindia yahoo group quoting that the palio will indeed roll out on 2nd april. and that person even got an invite seemingly from FIAT itself.

There's a (nearly full-page) writeup on the Palio in THE HINDU's Metro pullout (Kochi) today. With pics and all. They're calling it the return of the Fiat 1100. Nothing new (no new info) in the writeup, nothing that we don't knw here already.
