I think it is the GM sail hatch. Rear glass not looking like punto at all. Also look at the flap door handles in the previous thread
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/indian...po-2012-a.html

already revealed hence the little stickers on the car.

Seems to be the SAIL. Testing of these were spotted for quite some time! The Sail looks atleast a decade old and insipid design!

Cheers!

Its the Sail hatchback. The dashboard(pic1), the door handles and the camo on the rear badge(pic4) are dead giveaways. The tail lamps seems to be blackened(or is that camo too?) a-la Vista and looks better this way.

Its just the camouflage i guess. those decade old door flaps, rear windshield and the rear lights clearly indicate its a chevy(if i am not wrong, we can see the Chevy logo being removed or masked too(huge plus sign)

Mods, please merge this with the GM sail thread

I hope it is Chevy's Small car. I cant see punto in other form. It is sooo Beautiful in its current shape.
The Last image has a chevy logo, which i think removed, however the glue is still visible.

Gurus,

I may be wrong, but what use is this kind of a camouflage? It attracts more attention to a car that could have passed unnoticed.
(Considering the fact that barely anything is hidden here)

Cheers,

Chevy, looks to be. And the rear badge size seems to confirm it too.The lengthy car (read UVA) looks nice in the side profile.

This definitely isn't the Punto. MH14 corresponds to Pimpri region. Not sure whats cooking with the manufacturers in the region.

Good Catch. Polka dotted lady is the Chevy Sail hatch which will hit the roads around Diwali. Ms. Polka Dot's dress has been designed by GM design centre in China to make her look snazzy. Her underpinnings (read: platform) are not that contemporary though - its based on the 1995-'96 Opel Corsa

Attaching a clearer pic of the Chevy SAIL for reference

This is definitely not Punto.
The side profile, the flap type door handles and the ORVM in the third picture clearly suggests Chevy Sail. Even in the fourth picture the Chevy logo is quite clearly evident just below the rear glass.

This is undoubtedly the Chevy Sail, that is what I think.

Went to drop my colleague at nigdi and thought of having dahi puri . Suddenly noticed there was this unusually looking vehicle all covered up.

Went close to have a look and it appeared to be the chevy Enjoy ??

tried clicking but could manage only a couple as the guy left as soon as we got close to the vehicle.

The Sail looks like the Figo from this angle.

The Enjoy does not seem to be much of a head turner. Suddenly the Ertiga appears well put together. Maybe Enjoy will cater mostly to the taxi segment, especially cabbies who are looking at upgrading their aging Sumos and indicas and even the aging tavera.
