Guys,

Whats wrong with the looks of this car? This car may look dated; however, it is certainly better looking than a certain "T" car which launched its twin cousins last year. This certainly is not built CHEAP.

However, I agree that it may not be as reliable as the T but nothing short of it.

I found the front to be fine. The rear however appeared a bit bland. One thing noteworthy was that the hatch should be quite spacious. And with the 1.3MJD this can certainly bring volumes for Chevy.
The Wuling van to sum it up would be utilitarian. I wonder what would be the engine options?

There is definitely a problem when a manufacturer's MPV appears more interesting / exciting than their hatch.

Liked the MPV actually. The Sail hatch was a insipid and uninspiring.

I guess Sail might not Sail in India. It definitely looks dull and especially the rear belongs to the 1900's. I hope Chevvy has some interesting plans for the next Auto Expo.

The only thing more boring than the "New" Sail was the human model standing next to it. GM should avoid unfurling this Sail. Surely, they have other better rabbits in the bag!

Chevy sail suck in terms of looks. they should have brought in the chevy aveo (aka the new SONIC hatch) sold in US to india. its is an upgrade to beat. something on the same lines but more spacious and more premium. SAIL is something of an oddball design.

and the MPV, less said the better.

As far as I believe the Figo is not a wonder in the looks department nor is the fiesta, but they did set the sales charts on fire for their value for money proposition. Am thinking Chevy is going down the same lane with the 'sail'?

If killer pricing is the top card, then this might just sail through to larger numbers each month

Even I saw it being tested in Baner at 8:00 in the morning. The driver was zipping it between cars and zoomed out of sight.

Finally, one hatchback which gives reasonable space to the rear benchers too. Maruti should learn from them. When you make a family car, part of it sits in the rear seat too.

Would like to give a +1 to the Sail looks, it has been getting a lot of -ve comments but I did like it from all three the front, side and rear for a change.

It looks well built and sufficently modern.

Looks like this is launched - Rediff.com

New MPV in town. Chevrolet Enjoy at Rs 6.5 lakh - Rediff.com Business

At 6.5L, this could be a quite affordable tourer. Hopefully, they'll not put an atrocious price tag on the upcoming diesel version.

Is it true in the beginning the Chevy MPV is only going to be in a petrol version?
