The Q3 looks excellent! Being a 4WD, it would definitely be a threat to the BMW X1 as long as its priced appropriately. Any idea when it would be available in India?

The Q3 looks really good If priced right, they can send shivers down the spine of BMW. But looking at the interior trim, I honestly dont think they would launch it at the price of X1. They would have to strip it more to launch it at that price point. The A3 e-tron looks fantastic as well. Any idea on its non-electric version going into production in here? I suppose thats one of the speakers that comes with the car, embedded in the dash board.

Wow! Jalsa, loved the pictures! I think Audi has all the makings right now to give BMW a run for their No.1 luxury brand status in the country, the stall seems to have had intent. That being said, it's the perfect mix of concepts which blow your mind away and production cars that actually make you want to go to their showrooms. Their design ideology, although still flawed in merely extending wheelbase in A-series cars with increasing price without much individuality, is getting more stream-lined. I LOVE how they have finally ditched those pesky, eye-grabbing pearl LEDs to light strips. Makes the back of the current E-series seem very dated & Korean ![]() What really grabbed my attention was the jet-inspired A-3 e-tron concept. I mean whatever the designers were smoking when they came up with that design needs to be marketed! For me, it's the best "looks-production-ready" concept car at the Expo by a mile. The wheels and door handles make you want to weep with joy. And the interiors seems to have a leather dash? That should be an interesting touch in case it makes it to the production line. But, I think Audi went a little overboard with the chrome wheels and the carbon-fibre ORVMs.. Tad bit, but forgiven considering all the other eye-candy on display

| Team-BHP Support ![]() | Excellent coverage, Jalsa! Good to see Audi coming out all-guns-blazing and putting-up a good show at the Auto Expo. That would be one of the two tweeters that rise out of the dashboard when the car is switched on. It's by the premium luxury audio brand 'Bang & Olufsen' and provide several cars in the Audi range with the same speaker setup that consists of up-to 19 speakers! although it's only optional (if you've got some more loose change *grins*, I suppose.)Last edited by suhaas307 : 9th January 2012 at 18:31. |

You were lucky to get the special Audi invite pass. It was only possible to have a sneak peek at the Q3. The A3 e-tron concept really stood out.

Is the Q3 similar in dimensions when compared to the Ecosport? I know they are made for entirely different market segments, but was curious about their sizes.

Looking at the Audi Line up, the cars seem much more desirable and aspirational than ever before. They surely seem to be closing the gap with BMW.
