Contrary to pre-launch gossip of Maruti not likely to pass on the sub4mtr benefit to buyers, the launch prices are on the bulls eye. Hearts would fall head over the new Dzire for sure. Swift buyers are likely to go the Dzire way.

I think the jazz would be a better buy at these prices. You do get a bigger 380lt boot apart from Airbags/ABS which are missing in the VXi variant. Not to forget the magic seats!!
even i am thinking same !! but can the Jazz match the handling of the Swift is the question, swift has such a big mad fan following !!

How many people would know the difference between a sedan and a notchback?

Jazz is still selling?

I had asked this on another thread as well - but have the bookings re-opened after the Thailand tragedy? My friend had his money refunded (he didnt have a say in the matter - Dealer just called him and told Honda has cancelled bookings for Jazz). In another thread - one person had mentioned that the dealers are claiming it will take minimum 7 months to deliver the car. (Not waiting period since the sales are minimum - but the lack of supply of parts from Thailand).

Jazz does make a fantastic case for itself - but for the common man - a boot is status symbol - no matter small or big!

Note from Mod : GTO's Dzire Review has been uploaded here. Please continue the discussion on the review thread.

Brochure on maruti website

http://www.marutidzire.com/brochure/...20brochure.pdf

The only difference between VXI MT and AT apart from transmission is ABS with EBD.

1.2 lakhs difference for MT and AT is too steep
