that's true....but how dumb do they think the janta is, if they have the nerve to call a rear engine RWD a mid-engine layout..?? especially when the car is right there IN FRONT of your nose, staring back at you...??? has the "modifier" gone bankrupt after the mods that he can't employ a decent knowledgable person to explain the concept..? bah, humbug...like you said, doing this sorta stuff at an AUTO EXPO is truly pathetic, yaar...

err...ahem...and that "OTHER" Tata vehicle, if blessed with the V6, is gonna drink gasoline like there is no tomorrow; the "700 kg" indy-ca V6 might, in all probability, give 6-7 kmpl.....shudder the thought of a 2.2 tonner V6 with 87 octane gas; you would get better F.E from a methanol dragster....or perhaps you might consider a certain GM model, that's hitting our shores this year; big, V6, SUV.....hint: "get outta my way, or i'll squash ya..."

@tsk: perhaps skoda, still being high on the dope from the "laura" fiasco, mixed up the specs for the fabia TDi and the fabia vRS...if there is one...
which reminds me- could you, by any chance, gather any news about the fabia vRS..?

@hkanitkar : nice pics there, pal....

as for yamaha's motogp bike: 8 crores...goodness gracious...that's more than the veyron, for christ's sake...

Default Company Websites

Thanks guys for the pictures. A good number of auto company websites seem to have a dedicated area showing whats on display at the autoshow, so go ahead and check them out - i saw scorpio (done a good job coming out with variants), maruti, Honda.. The ones that dont have any on their website are Skoda (of course), Ford, Tatas..

Major Announcements/preview of new models seem to have come from: maruti (variants of swift/SUV), tatas (new vehicles), honda (civic/hybrid), skoda (fabia/Yeti), mahindras (variants/hybrid model)..

Even though I wasnt there...I saw these modded cars of Autopsyche's on Zee News(or was it Zee Business). Brilliantly done...they also managed to interview someone.
