I've seen Srilankan Police using 100% TATA Sumo 4x4s.
Scorpio will now be assembled in Russia and Malaysia.
Of course Bajaj Pulsar in Singapore.

I believe if TATA, Bajaj and Mahindra can beat the Japs in India, they can beat them in similar 3rd world markets like Africa/S.America/S.E Asia.

here's what i saw in china (shanghai, shenzen)

the optra (buick excelle) - in fact its overselling the new honda city (fit)
the aveo (chevy lova), is also picking up fast
the corolla, camry and accord - no sign of new civic here
the accent and the elantra
the palio and the wagon-r
the lancer being sold as "lioncel" and it doesnt have a mitz logo

and the most surprising of all
the good ol' m800 and the omni in quite good numbers !!!

I am currently in thte netherlands and was amazed to see the number of Suzuki cars doing rounds here...

1)the 800 - Good old 800. I even saw one today morning that looked exactly like the one I have at home.
2)Alto - I guess its the 1.1
3)Wagon R - the front looks different, but the rest loked similar
4)Swift - have seen a lot of them, dunno about the specs though
5)Esteem - have seen 4 Doors, 2 Doors and hatchbacks too
6)Zen - good old zen, havnt seen the Estilo though

though all of them sport the Suzuki tag, they look very Indian, nice to see them here..

have seen quite a few Ambasaadors in London, all decorated and made up...quite good looking.
Have also seen some of the Lambretta scooters, with lots of lights (10 to 15) on them.

AFAIK, all the cars Suzuki sell in Europe, only Alto/M800 comes from India, others are manufactured in Hungary.

Probably Bajaj Pulsar is the only one from your list which is manufactured and exported from India.... most of the hyundai cars are exported from korea.

Tata, Mahindra and Bajaj should be given Kudo's for actually trying to take Made in India brand global.... other companies like Hyundai, Suzuki, Ford just export cars from India which are basically global designs which are also made in india...

Tata atleast exports more than 1 model which are reasonably accepted in other markets, it pains me to see that Mahindra has just 1 model i.e. scorpio and even after so many years, it isn't a reliable vehicle... have to see how it performs when it gets launched in US next year...

Chevy Aveo in Dubai, older model. This is a sedan version of the U-VA hatch we get here in India.

Mahindra Scorpio in Dubai

The CEDIA in India, the Lancer in the UAE

iKON as the Chinese Fiesta

The INNOVA, quite popular as a people carrier or as a cab

Hyundai is making india the global small car manufacturing hub. i10 is going to exceed even alto as the highest manufacturing number(300,000 cars a year). Bulk of it will be for export market.
