Not bad at all. First drool worthy update after the initial launch. I like the tail-gate, but the tail lights looks a bit overdone.

Yikes! the headlights remind me of the old Elantra. Like the rear though.

It reminds me of a Subaru.

Overall looks decent but the rear sends overdone.

Let's see what the booking figures say as the real pictures are out.

I don't think I like it at all. Why those handles are there on the rear? For someone to hang in there while the car moves? And the front change looks more like that for a Sedan than a SUV type vehicle.
Is there any improvement to the engine? What about the interiors? They surely need some major overhaul anyway.

I'm disappointed. Seems like an effort to ensure it does not cannibalize the elder sister XUV. In pursuit of the same, it has gone closer to the younger sister Bolero.

Agree, apologise for my dated picture. The handles in the back are dangerous in rural India...!!! kids chased cars, now they will hang and take a free ride. Its ok so long as they are kids and at very slow speeds.

Can you imagine someone unwanted clinging in the back of the car.

The rear can double up as a front of a mini-van ...

But what ever the looks, what would be important is how this one drives.

I think I like it more than the current look. Hope that the DRLs will be a solid continuous band of uniform intensity, as shown in the teaser video, and not disconnected dotty LEDs like the XUV.
Also hope that they have done something to improve the ride quality by reducing the bounciness.

Sigh! Another one turns uglier... First the horrendous looking 2014 Toyota Innova and now the Mahindra Scorpio. Whatever happened to simple clean lines, understated looks and no bling.
From 2002 to 2014......

Seems that the designers have't deviated too much from the older version, a la Storme. The rear is too blingy IMO. The wheelbase looks stretched and would result in more legroom, especially in the middle row. What remains to be seen is how it handles and how the new gearbox behaves.

Cheers!

Mixed reaction... While I think front is toned down and now it more looks like a sedan face the rear looks ugly. With no real changes and that black plastic cladding everywhere.. Those handles. What for? I didn't like it at all. What is that blue light in the tail lamp for?

They took so many years and we get this ?

Somehow the alignment of head lamps and the grill looks like some cheap photo shop rendering !!
There has to be a clean line along the front width of the car, lights and the grill look awful mismatch

I really hope M&M has other things to convince the customers !!
apart from exlusive pre-order on Snapdeal !!

Disappointed.

The grill - Why are they aping Bimmer 3 series? The way the grill flows and the following divergence of the headlamps are too obvious to be just inspirations.

Rear is real overkill. What is shining in those tail lamps? And what were they thinking the (Plastic?) handles for?

Like a friend said, Another one just turned uglier.

Front is digestible. Rear is manageable but those lamps are too shiny you need shades on to look at them.

Not at all impressive I am really disappointed after seeing those pics, I can say it is something stupid from the Mahindra designer's and the mighty muscular looks has been stolen away from the Scorpio completely.
