Just to clarify : Will be taking the review live with the 110 PS review tomorrow. But I assure you that the 85 PS & Petrol will follow as soon as I'm able to get my hands on one. If we review a car, we want to review it completely (like the recent i20 review where the 1.2, 1.4 diesel and 1.4 AT were driven).

Awaiting another Superb Review GTO !! Hope the real drive of the car will be more promising than what it looks on Papers.

I don't like Black vehicles. They disconcert me and I will not ever pay money and buy a black car for my personal use.
Plus in general all dark shades of this type are extremely difficult to maintain and keep scratch free especially in our environment.

have not mentioned about it.

In respect to Rxl(o) where you get the roof rails, foot rails in black and body colored mirrors & door handle. Do any body have this model photo please do share it here.

+1 to that.
In our 'demolition derby' type of environment, any vehicle invariably picks up at least hairline scratches through out its body work.
And that's where light colours come to advantage, hiding those scars to some extent.
Also, in hot climes, a lighter coloured car soaks up less of the sunlight and the AC (hopefully) is likely to be more effective.

OT- GTO & the Team are most likely burning the midnight oil getting their much awaited review up tomorrow??

I thought they were petrol-heads, rather than oil-burners!

It's funny. Many common people I talk to are thinking Duster is a ~7 lakhs vehicle. Boy, the top end in Bangalore costs 14+. Don't know whether to sob (for I may own one) or smile (for the clever marketing of Duster).

My ardent hope is that our fate be to wait for Duster delivery for long enough to get really close to the launch date of the Ecosport

Forcing patience on us may sometimes turn out to be for the better... and if that happens, Renault's inefficiency could well cost them the right price.

Those who have seen both XUV and Duster, can you comment on the build and interior plastics of Duster vis-a-vis XUV?

Not sure if posted before, the Renault India site has been updated with some of the accessories, which includes the rear jump seats. The front bullbar with fog lamps is not added yet.

Now I feel that Renault ensured the 110PS version was launched as per plan to hook the customers and to beat EcoSport into the market.
With that Renault can take some time to prepare other products and accessories. The image of the jump seat is not very clear, but is a confirmation that it will be available soon.

I doubt if this seat would be of any use even for children.

Interesting stats I found on rpm-speed across gear ranges. Its around 3000 rpm at 125 or the 110 dCi, that's a bit strained isn't it. If I am not mistaken the XUV is a more relaxed 2200 rpm at 120.

Dear GTO,

By now, you must have driven the car; any chance that any of the variants was a 7 seater, with the additional seat option that the dealers are providing?

Hi raul,
From the chart,
in 6th gear
@2000rpm- 92kmph
@3000rpm- 138kmph
So, 100 in 6th should be around ~2200rpm. Which is where even my verna does 100kmph in 6th. Feels very relaxed at that speed.

Where did you see the 3000rpm-125kmph reading?
Or am i reading the chart wrong?
