Ingenio is meant to be a people-mover dabba minivan, not an off-roader by a long shot. It will target Tavera, Innova, Qualis, Rhino and the like.

AFAIK, no SsangYong Rexton was ever offered in two-wheel drive.
All SsangYong Rextons are proper 4x4 SUVs with Mercedes-Benz engines
-- a 162 bhp CRDi and a 217 bhp petrol.

So an Ingenio may be as far away from a Rexton as chalk from cheese!

Hi

Any news on the launch, I am sure there must be somebody close to the M & M guys who can tell us if the dealer training etc have been scheduled, I feel this is the right time for he launch, the sumo grande has recieved a luke warm response, it might be the right time for Mahindra to kill it and set the standards for the impending Xover.

Saw a camouflaged MUV going from khelgaon towards IIT. I can nearly bet it was an Ingenio. But what can it be doing in Delhi?
