WORST INDIAN TV advt for cars - Page 3 - Team-BHP

The crappiest ad i remember is the 'really a converstion piece' cooked up by MUL when Maruti 1000 was launced...oh god..
Then comes the Santro 'sunshine' mockery...u can sell cars in India without saying a word about the car...hyundai proved it
The Chevy Aveo...unbearable.
But my Oscar for sick ads goes to the CIELO Automatic 'hold my hand' classic..no wonder the company went bust

Worst : AVEO, ELANTRA (jumping the bridges&monks etc.)

Best : TVS VICTOR (old ones), M800 (small guy going brrrrrr... mileage)

the skoda ad is crap...and the new aveo ad is pathetic(todo fodu what ****....)

The new Tata Indica Turbo ad... scales new heights in stupidity.
Did u notice the wave, thats supposed to be generated by the high flyin Indica, dies right after drenching that poor old man?
And then they shake the camera to make the car look fast!!!
Only the background song is nice... but overall, the ad makes me hate the car for spoiling that old chap's day out fishing.

The Aveo had has to be one of the worst even though I dont dislike any of the participants), followed by the "Santro Wale hai"

Shows more of the stars than the cars.

Anyone remember
"Takes the rough with the Smooth"
or
"Ab kya karen duty pe jana hai"

Its the right Ad. In fact the car will be shaking when driving it. So the Ad was shot from inside another Indica

What about that Tata 207TDi Pick-up ad? the "Rocky se pangaa ?? " ad
It is a bit too jarring and loud ....a Tata Pickup racing and winning a rally!

but the best ads have to be:-

1) Maruti 800... the little guy going brrrrr...
2) The old Tata Sierra turbo ad...
3) The Safari Dicor ad...great music...makes you want to go out and let rip

Of the current lot of ads, I think the maruti "my daddy's big car" is STUPID .. so the girl doesnt know who's car it is, the dad has to wait till they reach to pull out the key .. the looks on their faces. And come to think of it, the car isnt big

Has anybody found the Tata 207DI "Rocky Se Panga" ad anywhere on the web ? Want to download that one - just love it.
I generally find many of these ad's on magindia.com. Play the ad there, get the URL and open the URL in any imaging s/w like Windows media player - you can then save the ad you want.

why do you call it a sick advt? I think it was very nicely executed. Brilliantly done by Kavita Kapoor. The point was very innovatively put across.

5) esteem - my daday's big car ( although this ad hits the point )

best Ads
Old Skoda ad ( gotta be well built )
old sierra or safari ad - dont remember if it was a sierra or a safari in the middle of a stream. ( make your own road )
