I guess they are still updating the D90 webpage, in the price section they forgot to remove the <table> borders in the coding But that body kit looks like after market and does not blend well with the car. The design of the kit is nice but it sticks out like a bad limb.

Looks like the website is still work in progress as climate control section is not incorporated into the feature list in the site but is available in the brochure.

Also, they seem to be discontinuing the Safire 90 variant along with this as it is no longer part of the engine options in the site or the brochure.
OR
They have totally messed up the site and the brochure which could be very much possible.

They forgot to update the tech page.
Tech page seems to have a section for Quadrajet 90 but the details are the same as 75. So it is partially updated

VX and ZX+ seems to be the new models; no ZX variant. So there is still hope for the originally announced VFM pricing.

Attaching the brochure herewith. Also noticed that the Vista Quadrajet 90 has a 44 litre fuel tank from the Manza, as against the 37 litre tank in other variants (Tdi, Quadra 75 & Safire 65)

for a car with sporty pretensions, 14 inch wheels are an anachronism. Tata shouldve given it the 15 inchers of the manza with 195 tyres. Why does Tata always resort to half measures!

Motorbeam have test driven the Vista QJD90, & here is link to their test drive report:

http://www.motorbeam.com/cars/tata-v...-drive-review/

The lifeless steering, as per the above report, spoils the ride (the car come with stiffer springs & improved suspension to match the sporty claim).

Tata Motors has quoted acceleration figures at 15.5 secs for the 0-100 kmph run. Keeping in mind figures from Autocar India, only the lighter Swift, and i20 (slightly more powerful as well) are faster than the Vista Quadrajet. In gear acceleration times should also be competitive.

The ARAI mileage is also not bad at 21.12 kmpl (vs 22.30 for the 74 BHP variant)

As per BSM, only the rubber components of the suspension in the Vista QJD90 have been changes. Apologies for above post where I quoted springs as being stiffer as compared to low powered variants.

The regular Vista lacks style but at least it doesn't look repulsive. Those B-grade contraptions Tata has affixed to D90 make the car look downright horrible. Can they be removed?

Body kit seems to be fixed only on the cars in the workshop and seems to be add-ons as there is clear separation lines for them at the base of the bumpers and the side. Looking at the pictures from bsmotoring and motorbeam reviews, Vista appears normal in those. The brochure too doesn't mention anything about the aero kit in the feature list. So it could be just an optional accessory.

EDIT: Got confirmation from bsmotoring review link mentioned cardeep in the below post:

Quote:
On the outside, there aren't any changes save for the badging and a contrast painted roof, but there is a dealer-installed body-kit available that includes new bumpers, side-skirts and a rear wing that make the Vista look sporty.

Now it is VFM!

Didn't understand what they mean by extra weight over the front suspension prevents it from being a corner carver. It never was, and it is basically using the same engine with a VGT. I doubt that would significantly increase the weight of the engine. May be wrong, though.

And how would different rubber in the suspension help stiffen it? Are they talking about the bushes?

The increase in the weight is due to reinforced steel body shell according to AutocarIndia and hence it is slower by 0.3 sec to 100 compared to the Swift.

Tata puts down the extra weight to the Vista’s extra-strong reinforced steel body shell.

This is a significant update for the Vista. With all the new features, it should become a good alternative for the features and comfort seeking crowd of i20, if not for the fun-to-drive seeking Swifters, IMO

How to make a compact UV/ crossover? Add a spare wheel at the back of an Indica Vista! Sorry but the pics truly are hilarious.

I'm wondering - the mini Aria thats supposed to be TATA's crossover competitor, will it be just a raised Vista?

WOW Thats so WRONG isn't it?

But when Renault does the exact same thing (minus the spare on the tailgate), its 'Team-BHP Car of the Year'!!
