Is Merc launching ML series in India? - Team-BHP

While coming to the office today, I noticed a poorly camouflaged white SUV with white tapes all over it. I drove close to it from behind and kept driving for a minute or two, till it took right to merge onto Dehu Road bypass.

Well, the tri-star was not to be missed even from the tapes. I could even figure out that it was ML 350, from the shape of tape protrusions.

Have they launched ML series in India, or are they planning to launch?

P.S.: I was not at all impressed by at least its rear looks. Just didn't feel like a Merc.

The new ML series has already been launched in india in January of 2006 as CBU's.

I guess they are planning to assenble it here, or bring in CKD's. It should sell well, especially in black.

It might not be camouflaged.. but must be the covering used to protest the car during shipping.. tne BMW X 5's come in the same manner..

M-Series is there for booking.

RX135, you must have seen the car which was there for their road show.

Price should be 55 lacs+ on road. Don't take this as the right figure.

islero, you are right. Black will look stunning. I've seen the car.

Couldn't drive it because it was inside the exhibition hall. Will do it during next factory trip and that's going to be soon. Car is much improved than the previous one or so they claim.
