If they price it reasonable (Like they did for Amaze Diesel Versions), IMO, this is going to be hot seller in India. Looking forward to read more news on this one.

The looks of new Honda Fit/Jazz is a very futuristic. But I feel the rear end is too funky. Anyways we need to wait and see the complete product offering. Hope they price it well.

Thanks for the latest brochure damager21.

Yes, the back is little odd. But let's see how they introduce it in India. Looking very forward to it.

That front looks ultra sleek and smooth , good job there , but the rear seems to be a bit funny.... Cannot find an appropriate analogy for it right now but it does not look too good to me.. the front is futuristic and the back seems to have been forgotten..

Looks nice and funky. But apart from the looks i'm sure the jazz will cater to its primary strengths of space (acres of it) and refinement (oodles of it) albeit at a lower price tag.

I remember when the jazz had been initially launched, it was a petrol hatch touching almost 9 lakhs with a print advertisement boldly stating magic seats (what a kiddish marketing strategem!)

Honda, plonk in your i-dtek, keep the price sensible and thou shalt taste success.

This car is definitely worth waiting for. We were thinking of buying a new car this year but had to postpone the purchase to next year. And I'm glad it got postponed. Any idea of when the car is going to be launched in India?

The tacho seems to be missing in the pics, or have they gone digital like in motorcycles.

Brochure and pics shown are for hybrid variant which we are unlikely to see here.

Dial to the left of the speedo has a line that serves as the tacho. Upper portion is the power band and the lower portion is charge band. I'm sure we'll be seeing regular tacho in its place for the MT version we get here.

Honda seems to have retained the slot to provision the DRLs, so I'm guessing they'll be available at least as an accessory (projector lamps are mostly on top end variants and the ones with projectors also don't have the DRL factory fit)..

But no fog lamps at all surprises me. No slot for them either on any variant pictured above or am I not observing properly?

Nice looking car and I truly hope these come with a powerful diesel in India early to mid next year. With higher ground clearance than before, please..

Maybe it is only me, but the (whatever little) sleekness of the earlier Jazz seems to have been replaced by a more bulbous or bulky front. Does it appear raised due to an enhanced GC?

With the idtec, it will still be a reasonable option regardless of the funky rear. I wonder in how many colours they would offer it here!

Wow. Love this car. I really like the 2014 version of Jazz. I hope Honda launch it here in India soon, this time with an AT option as well.

The 2014 Honda Jazz (called Fit in some international markets) has been launched in Japan today.

The new Jazz starts at 1.26 million Yen (around Rs. 8.36 lakhs) for the 1.3-litre F variant and goes all the way up to 1.93 million Yen (around Rs. 12.75 lakhs) for the Hybrid S variant.

From September 6th, Honda’s official tuning arm Mugen will sequentially release a range of custom parts for the 2014 Honda Jazz (2014 Honda Fit).
