The front end looks a lot aggressive now. Don't know if it suits the size of the vehicle. From all other angles, looks almost the WagonR. Good thing will be if its launched with those safety features mentioned by Parrys.

Interior remains more or less the same!

Black looks class! So does the leather wrapped steering. So MSIL has learnt something better than stickers and wheel caps.

So guess who is getting the black interiors now Will try to swap the panels to get the same finish.

I seriously don't get the point of this model unless there is a better engine that's going to be added or for that matter, some major change. The front looks better and I agree to that. But the interiors look just the same, except for the steering mounted controls. And atleast if they could tweak the engine or put in the 1.2 K series engine (size might be an issue), it would have worked out to be a way better proposition to me. Pricing it around 50k more would put it quite close to the Ritz even! The car looks so good in the first pic of this thread but the actual pics don't give me the same impression! Or is it just me?

The bonnet now looks inspired from Safari Storme! But I think the current model looks better than Stingray. This one looks like a half hearted attempt at enhancing looks. The interiors are pleasant though.

for black interiors!

My wishes..

Would look cracking with carbonfiber finished panels, a touchscreen AVN unit and tacho pod like Ritz/A-star.

Externally, Exciting colour options with lots of pearl in it. (The red option looks hot!), Angel eyed lamps, bigger diameter wheels, FFE can make this one of the hottest things on road! Wished the K10-B had more poke though.

The boxy image seems enhanced by the front stance! Something which i felt couldn't be done anymore.

The projectors and interiors are the good part and should help it sell good numbers. The only problem i have is how do they wish to position this car in their current portfolio.

More images. Roof rails are missing for Stingray! Looks feminine than current WR, just because of this reason, IMO.

I firmly believe that they should have launched the Stingray as a Zxi variant with ACC, Black interiors, roofrails (missing now), Rear fog lamps (missing). Don't know what else is missing but these are two things that come straight to my mind.

And MSIL, please don't launch a Stingray Green

Does the audio system have Bluetooth functionality? There seems to be something like a microphone slot on the dashboard, just below the right central A/C vent, but I cannot find any call answer/reject buttons on the steering mounted controls, or on the music system itself.

The only difference I can see in the interiors(through my mobile screen) is the colour, a diffrent steering wheel including the 'S' logo. The speedo seems to have a blue lighting now, instead of the orange earlier. Everything else seems taken as it is from the current gen Waggie. Expected atleast an ACC like Amtak mentioned. A zxi stingray would have been great.

Exteriors don't seem to exciting. Looks a straight lift up from the storme. The HL's seem same. Roof rails do enhance the look of the car. Why were they missed out? I would reserve my comments till I see the car in flesh.

Maruti Wagon R Stingray sports steering mounted audio controls, black interiors.

From an exterior viewpoint, the Stingray sports a completely revised front fascia. A slimmer grille (which appears to be largely made up of chrome), a sleeker looking headlamp cluster with projector lights, an all new bumper and a flat bonnet should help you distinguish the Stingray from the regular Wagon R. At the sides, the alloy wheel design is all new while there are very minor changes at the rear.

Inside the Stingray gets steering mounted audio controls. The car spied here is the top-end VXi model sporting ABS. Stingray seem to do with the all-black interior plastics.

From the interior pics that drsnt posted, it looks like there will not be any passenger airbag. We surely can count on Maruti Suzuki that safety will be the last priority for them.
I also spoke to the local dealer, no AT option will be introduced in Stingray.
