You are wrong. FIAT is number one in luxuary segmant in July. they sold 900 odd numbers.

Their numbers proves that they are Ferrari in Affordable Trim. I thought there will be a significant change in the way they operate after the carve out from TML but I was wrong.

They promised us to send a test drive TJet to our office at 4 PM yesterday but they did not

June - there was 30k loyalty bonus for existing Safari owners. July- 30k for all Tata vehicle owners. Aug - it could be 30k if you can pronounce Tata properly. I got 30k loyalty ( for owning a Vista ) + 15k corporate discount and this is with extremely pathetic negotiation skills.
3. Don't see an issue there. Tata have always supported their cars well with parts
A lot of forums had indeed spoken about the Storme with a mildly upgraded engine and an auto box a couple of months back. Power and torque are both supposed to go up consequently. However, these changes are first supposed to make an appearance in the Aria, before the Storme.
I am myself eagerly awaiting to see if these changes make their way into the Storme anytime soon, and without a very steep price increase.

It makes sense to bring changes first to Aria. Many companies often bring cutting edge tech to cars costing a few crores which sell 1-2 units a month.
Aria is Tata's supercar. It sells in supercar numbers. So we should see new tech in Aria soon

Looks like a bit of work for Audi then. Over here, all the Audi demo cars carry the decal, 'Thanks for making us #1' plastered over the doors.

The A will give a huge hand in driving volume for Merc.

Lets see the Q3 S pricing would be, when announced today. There has been a lot of hype and speculation around the introduction of Q3 S in the Indian auto market.

Cheers!

I am sorry I do not understand the relevance of the post in this topic (I may have missed the point completely).

FIAT split up from TATA last September or October. After that they have started building up their service and sales network. Since April they started having independent showrooms and service centers and they are adding to their foot print every month.

FIATs sales have been dismal over the last couple of years, so getting a new strategy in place, implementing it and seeing the actual results will definitely take some time , I reckon atleast a year.

They also have put up a roapmap of cars which will be launch in coming year or two so they do have a vision plan ready.

Also another thing which I do not understand the relevance of test car not be being sent to you in this topic. Is that FIAT's fault or the dealer ? This can easily be brought up in the Dealership section of the forum.

Looks like almost all auto makers are undergoing severe pressure. The overall sentiments are against the industry. To further worsen the situation, the fuel prices are increasing. We should wait and see the scenario in six months down the line.

Maruti August sales up at 87,323 units, shares gain. Though not comparable with the sales of 2012 due to the labor issues, it is commendable that Maruti's August sales are higher than its July sales of this year. Maruti Suzuki sold a total of 83,299 units in July 2013.
Some highlights as below,

M800/ALTO/WagonR 32019
Swift /Estilo /Ritz 17409
DZire 13723
SX4 348
Ertiga 4563
EECO/Omni 7956

Cheers!
