Why there is no Vxi LPG models since after buying a Lxi WagonR our minds will always vie for a Vxi because of it's additional never-miss features ?

Are maruti also installing LPG in OLD WagonR's?

I may just run to the Workshop soon in that case.

The reason why I didnt get CNG installed in wagonR was coz Boot was a total waste after the installation.

Saw the LPG version of Wagon R today. The lower part of the luggage area is taken up by the LPG cylinder of capacity of about 20-22 kgs which looks like a black UFO Object hidden under a grey mat

The additional wheel took up some space at the left hand side of the backside of the wagon r. Because of that you cannot recline the left back seat beyond a particular limit. Plus the luggage space also gets reduced. But that's OK considering the advantage of the LPG costs.

And there are no discounts on this model. So this one costs more than the Wagon R VXI even...

I called up the Maruti helpline today, and they said the LPG WagonR will be shipped to dealers "within a week or two" for demos/test drives.

If you book it then, delivery starts in August.

The specs:

It's gonna have a 5 ltr petrol tank and a 65 ltr LPG tank.

LX: Rs 3,35,500 (non-metallic), Rs 3,38,500 (metallic)
LXi: Rs 3,63,200 & Rs 3,66,600.

Those figures are ex-showoom Delhi.

Is it a good deal? I'm really considering it.

Also, can anyone tell me if any auto mag has test-driver/reported on this yet?

Holy Cow !! why did the chop off the petrol tank. 5 liters is not going to take you for more than 60 kms. You're doomed if you want to go touring in remote areas where there is no LPG.

if it is like this only, then i guess they'll be doing it to save on that boot space!
might be the LPG cylinder/tank is placed besides the petrol tank!!

Default LNG WagonR pics?

I am considering this model for my parents. Any interior pics of the LNG WagonR?

BTW, How do gas stations refill LNG? Do we need to swap cylinders like our good old gas stoves?

In Kaulalumpur, I saw the cab driver fillup LNG just like petrol, and he had a switch on the dash to switch between petrol and LNG.

Again, interior pics of WagonR LNG greatly appreciated.

Default Duo Capacity: Petrol (35 lit) + LPG (22.5 lit)

Hey just went into www.marutiwagonr.com
checked the duo specs...it is mentioned 35 lit petrol tank and 22.5 lit LPG Capacity...

I think u have mistaken somewhere..in 5 lit petrol tank, the car become useless for long travel as you may not get an LPG at remote places. Also I have heard you require petrol at higher speeds...

They do have a pic of the LNG tank, I feel it looks much better than an aftermarket LNG kit.

Unhappy

Good move by Maruti. But I was thinking that they had worked on the boxy shape. Not at all, it is the same except for better front grill and lights.
