Nothing weird; indeed smart. I do NOT think much people know about the TSi. If TATA goes heavily on marketing the "turbo" part, it might draw a lot of attention. The first thing people may associate a turbo will be with Swift (D) & it's FTD factor.

I don't think that there would be disagreements here,if I said that none of TATA's cars offer low passenger space.(In their respective classes)
I am sorry but I dont really understand your statement. Are you saying that Tata cars dont offer spacious interiors for the price?

If that's what you think, then its the biggest joke. Both Vista and Manza are till date most spacious in their segment.

I hope I was wrong in understanding your post.

Well I meant the whole sentence:"India's first 1.2L Turbocharged petrol Engine".
But I agree on the whole that the Turbo part will attract a lot of prospective buyers.

You were wrong in the understanding...that's all. He also meant that Tata offers more space.

I like it that Tata is going at a good pace promoting the upcoming cars as they have been kinda sluggish in previous launches. I will be the first one in the queue to TD them though I am not in need of any. Sincerely hope this may prove a turnaround for Tata Motors. We need Indian companies to succeed and create a healthy competition. Good for us customers.

+1, I own a Manza and owned a Tata Indica before that.. The space a Honda Amaze provides is only as much as the Tata Indica.

Tata Cars have always provided unreal space. Take for example the Tata Indigo XL which is used a lot by Meru.. the back seat room is like 3 times any large sedan.

Rarely will you find cars which offer more space

Yes, the wheels go with the car's looks. This wait is killing me, in hopes that they launch it soon.

There is a full page ad for Revotron on the cover page page of TOI today. The second page carries the full page ad of ZEST with the caption "Coming Soon".

TML seems to be quite gung ho about the 1.2L Revotron engine. Today's TOI (Pune Edition) is carrying this full page ad at front

http://epaperbeta.timesofindia.com/G...pe=A&eid=31814

Name: Revotron Ad TOI 07July2014.jpg
Views: 3976
Size: 105.1 KB

The rear side of the same page is carrying the full page ad for the Zest

http://epaperbeta.timesofindia.com/G...pe=A&eid=31814

Edit: Saw the messages posted about the same ad by fellow TBHPians 400notout (Mumbai) and Car-Agey (Delhi). So it seems TML has gone for a pand India marketing campaign for the Revotron and the Zest. Good start I must say, keep it up.

I have registered for the "Priority Test Drive", by sending my details to the e-mail id, "MYZEST@TATAMOTORS.COM".

I have also sent a text message "MYZEST" to the number 5616161. I got an immediate reply as follows:

"Congratulations! You're now officially the 1st in line to experience the New Zest. Our representative will shortly get in touch with you for details. Thank you!"
