Challenging market = Shuffle in Leadership @ auto companies
A report in The Economic Times has showcased that the brutal slowdown in the automobile sector is resulting in the frequent changes at the top positions in the Indian car industry.
The last two years have seen 10 car manufacturers changing their CEO's. While a few of them have completed stints, some moved out citing personal reasons but a few like Ford Motors had a different story.
In the case of Ford, the successor of Mr. Michael Boneham, Mr. Joginder Singh was with Ford for a little more than a year.
This is strange that almost the entire automobile industry is witnessing this shuffle.
Circumstances have forced Tata Motors to look out for a new CEO after the sad demise of Karl Slym.
Experts have been quoted saying that the last two years have been turbulent for the Indian car industry and they have never seen such massive reshuffles.

Well the CEOs get outrageous pays because of equally outrageous expectations from them.
So it is but natural if they get shown the door when the results are not favorable.
