Yep, looks better in darker colours. Or white would have been fine with black bumpers and cladding.

In full white the front is too monotonous, something like the previous gen Honda City in white colour also did. A bit of contrasting colour here and there would have been good.

The TUV300 will be available in mainly three variants - T4 (base), T6 (mid) and T8 (high).
Based on these variants, the add-on features will be available in the plus (+) variants, further classifying them into seven variants overall (T4, T4+, T6, T6+, T6+ AMT, T8+, T8+ AMT).

Features like power steering, power windows, air-conditioning, tilt-steering and an immobiliser are offered as standard across all variants. On the safety front, the T4 is the only variant which misses out on ABS and dual airbags are absent in the T4 and T6 variant.

The top-of-the-line T8+ benefits from electronically adjustable OVRMs, static bending headlamps, the micro hybrid technology and a four-inch display. A three-inch display is offered on the T6 and T6+ variant. The T4 and T4+ plus not only miss out on this, but also body coloured bumpers.

Mahindra's TUV300 will be powered by an advanced mHawk 80 series engine that will churn out 80bhp of power and 230Nm of torque. This mill comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, but customers can also opt for the AMT gearbox in the T6+ and T8+ variants.

The car will available in six new colours bold black, glacier white, majestic silver, molten orange, dynamo red and verve blue. These colours will be different from the colours of the other Mahindra products sold currently. The T8 will be available in all the six colours, the T6 in white, silver, black and red but the base T4 variant will be available only in silver, black and red.

Thank you RavenAvi. I was hoping ABS and airbags will be standard across all the variants. It will be good if they are offered as an option on the '+' variants.

Could have provided cruise control on the T8 or T8+ variant and that would complete all the required feature (may be not primarily intended for highway).

AMT available in both T6 and T8 which is good . Finally if the T8+ AMT is priced around 9L, it would have many takers, but I think it may be close to 10 L ex showroom

Please do correct if I am wrong.

The basic architecture of this engine is slightly tweaked with all the learnings obtained from the previous iteration called mCR100. This engine is designed for very good low end torque. Basically, going from 0 to 60 will be a breeze with minimal gear changes. Like all Mahindras, the engine will give you a smile every time you hit the pedal.

The white TUV is looking horrible. The side profile has too much resemblance with the ugly Quanto.

Default Next-generation Mahindra Bolero? NAMED: Mahindra TUV300! EDIT: Now dealers a...

AMT with micro hybrid? That's a great combo. If it is yet on a diesel variant that will be an even better offer. With this the government duty benefits could kick in (like in the case of Ciaz SHVS) meaning the price difference on the top variant will be less (if the benefits are passed onto the customers).

Webcast is on. Mahindra taking a 'proper tough SUV' stance on the TUV, and groups it along the Scorpio, Safari and Bolero. Shrugs aside the "clutter of Monocoque SUV's"

'Affordable', and 'ride comfort' highlighted

AMT announced as 'Auto Shift'Emphasises on shift quality.
