Re: Tom von Bonsdorff is new Managing Director of Volvo India
There are two qualities that the bossman at Volvo Cars India must have.
- Must love challenges: Making the case for a Volvo (a brand best known for buses in India) vs Mercedes, BMW & Audi isn't easy.
- Ability to think out of the box: Sell a 'different' brand 'differently'. Volvo needs some innovative marketing if it is ever to make a difference in India.
Lets see if Bonsdorff has it in him to increase Volvo's sales numbers which are currently at pitiful levels. I know some used car dealers that sell more luxury cars.
