Guys, not sure this is the right thread to post this query.

2013 BMW X3 advantage, 47,xxx Km runs. Well maintained, new tyres and brake pads, 5 year 100,000 BSI, extended warranty.

Asking price 27.5 lakhs.

Is this a good deal?

Looks like x3 30d variant is no longer available according to BMW India website. I am glad that I picked one a few months ago after a lot of deliberation. I always wanted a dynamically sound compact German SUV with a 6 cylinder engine and X3 30d was the only one that I was able to find/afford. Both x5 and gle 350 are expensive and pretty bulky. Sad to see that BMW has stopped it

I told you so! Pick up one while its available.

Looks like the petrol X3 is gone as well. No taker I guess. The F25 X3 is on its last lap and production would have been aligned to the fact that the G01, next gen X3 is around the corner. I don't think BMW will skip the 30d for India with the G01, since none of the competitors have a six cylinder model on offer in the segment. The only other one, the Jag F-Pace is priced ridiculously and Audi and Merc have realised that performance hunters are even visiting their showrooms. So Audi dropped the Q5 3.0 TDI and Merc haven't even thought it worthwhile to get the GLC 250d to India.

Your thread was one of the major factors that influenced me to settle for an X3 30d

Without a 6 cylinder engine option, I think it is better to buy an X1 instead of an X3. I hope BMW brings back the 30d engine when it launches G01 but I doubt it looking at the competition. Looks like one has to shell out a crore Rupees to buy a 6 cylinder SUV in the future.

Does anyone know when the new G01 X3 is supposed to launch in India?

SA from BMW said not this year. I was trying to find out discounts on current gen if they were launching the new one.

My experience- for imminent launches or verification of news/ rumors, it is difficult to trust what SAs say. Last time at a BMW showroom in 2015, I had been enquiring with them since April regarding launch of X3 30d and continued follow up till mid July. Instant reply would come- "no idea, sir", or, "no sir, it wont get launched". And then they would hard sell an X5. 2 days, after I double checked on X3 30d, and the ususal denial by SA, car was in display.
Is it possible that SA didnt know about the car launch?
Alas, we dont have much sources inside BMW HQs.

Its only been unveiled so far and world wide launch is slated for Nov 2017.

Going by the India launch date for the G30 5 series, the G01 X3 could come to India by April 2018.
