Palio Resale Value skyrocketing after TATA JV !!!
After hunting for a used Palio 1.2/1.6, I came across several Palios in different conditions. Before the JV with TATA, people always rebuked FIAT vehicles mainly because of it's pathetic service, FE and also due to the niggling problems associated with FIAT vehicles.
And Palio was never in the checklist of a used car buyer before the JV.But the situation has changed to some extent although not drastically.
A 2001 Palio 1.2 ELX which commanded between 1.5-1.6 lakhs six months ago is now only available in the range of 1.75-1.85 Lakhs which is way better than the current resale value of a 2001 Zen VXiin Cochin. On the other hand, a 2001 Zen VXi is available for about 1.65-1.75 Lakhs and people are hesitating to part with their old Zens because of paltry resale value !!!
So what is the current state of affairs in your area with regard to Palio resale values ?

Aaaaahhhhh... Now that is good news. I have a 2002 Palio 1.2 ELX. Well... I'm not selling it for another 2 years anyway (unless the VW Golf is out by then), but that is gooooood news. Especially from Cochin
