Default Re: Delhi Govt bans after-market CNG kits. EDIT: To be revoked

Another political stunt! to claim odd even success and to hell with pollution.

In today's date there are literally 1000s of polluting diesel vehicles on Delhi roads as checking pollution is not the agenda for Delhi police or AAP.

The 1000s of AAP volunteers for odd even were too educated to see smoke or pollution, but reading number plates and dividing the last digit by 2 (and checking the remainder) is still a good use of their education.

Delhi police is busy suspending licences for over speeding (@75kmph) on 8 lane roads or for hiding behind bushes for catching people with phones. Haryana tourism buses and smoking cabs or fumigating bikes is not a concern.

Its all a sham.

None taken. No need to apologize.

Maybe for petrols it is possible to install an upgrade purely from an emissions perspective. An SCR makes sense but is quite difficult to execute in India.
Well, I'm not talking about modifying current running engines.
The Government can discuss with SIAM and prepone implementation of BS 5 norms. It's not too hard for the manufacturer to get new cars to comply to new norms.

We are skipping Euro-V (or the BS equivalent) and going in straight for Euro(BS)-VI in 2020. I hope they implement it across the country and also on Commercial vehicles.
