Guys,

Thank you for all your suggestions and feedbacks. My Fiesta Sxi is finally home! The sales guy was nervous seeing me with the 13 page check list which i had printed down from the forum! It certainly helped me go through all the details. Got the car with 33kms on the Odo. Took the car and got onto the road and I lost my way . It took a good 12kms before I came to a familiar road. Was enjoying the drive and was getting used to it and so didnt feel like asking anyone anyway. Will post the photos once i have them in hand later. thanks again Guys! Will keep you posted on her performance on road.

Congratulations on ur purchase, TalkingPebbles! good on ya!

generally, itss impossible for ford to stop the Silver color atleast! Black, yea can say they want to keep it special for a particular variant. but Silver is like equal or next only to white which is the highest sold color!

These Dealers do have minimum order quantities and they do have minimum color quantities too to fulfill, so they play games with customers to stick them these variants.

Should always crosscheck with other dealers around, or best to call up the FORD HOTLINE and find out for sure what the plan is.

I'm a bit late on this topic but my two cents.
First of all congratulations to TalkingPebbles. I am a Fiesta owner, been driving that car since Jan and I am in love with it. You've made a good descision.
Secondly, the colours have been stopped keeping in mind the December slump in car sales. They will restart it from December, and this was told to me by my sales man. These two colours are very much in demand, and theres no ways Ford will discontinue them. But what a dumb move on Fords part, to discontinue them, even temporarily.
