I liked it too, I somehow feel that high mounted fog lamps give a very good character to any car's design. I like the Fiesta Classic and the Yeti for this.

But looks like the rendered got carried away, and gave fog lamps at the conventional location too ! Also this is the European Grand i10, going by the belt-line. Understandable, as the source is from UK.

I like the front, so-so on the rear design. And I wish they don't bring that interior theme to India; reminds me of the first gen Ford Figo.

Guess it's the DRL on the top and fog lamps at the normal position. Not sure why would they light up the fog lights with the head lights off otherwise?

Front looks decent and the rear looks like copied from the JDM Alto 800!

Alloys and storage console below dashboard looks to be borrowed from the Xcent.

Overall not bad, but that rear bumper is ridiculous.

Okayish front and I'm not a big fan of that large black area on the rear bumper.
Adjustable head restraints, auto AC and the storage lid is all that I would miss I believe as I got an Auto variant for my wife a month ago.

Interiors - I do not believe that these will come to India. A center armrest for the front seats is required though - esp. in an auto variant. I'm sure Hyundai will give the DRLs a miss for the India spec variant too.

It does not look bad, but i think the earlier one looks better.

This one looks like an A-star to me, going more towards organic form than fluidic.

Looks more like mix of Fiat and Citroen design elements. Would have been better if they had the current fluidic design. Yeah, my Grand i10 looks better but this isn't bad.

This looks pretty good to me. I whole-heartedly welcome the DRLs (LED or not) near the headlamps - I do hope they make it to the Grand i10. The front fog lamps can sit in their usual slot. I guess the rear fog lamps will be replaced by reflectors in India (just as with the current car).

The Grand i10 & Xcent desperately need the adjustable front neck-restraints pictured on the test mule, and also new Asta(O) & SX(O) variants with additional side & curtain airbags to match the class-leading safety features that the Ford Figo & Aspire offer.

Didn't like the front fascia. The current model looks fabulous still. I would surely prefer the current model over this new facelift.

The interior quality looks a step up , the touch screen looks nice and the entire dash has a nice split , more like the Tucson , though I don't like the orange dual tone. Hyundai is trying too hard to incorporate the family grill every where. It just doesn't work on this car. The DRLs are surely out of place nor do I like the rear reflectors ,Wonder what they will now do to the Eon now to incorporate the grill.

These are pictures of the face-lift which debuted at the Paris Motor Show and the car is for Europe as it is a LHD one.

There are a lot of additional features for this Euro-spec car;
Quote:
Safety offerings have been enhanced as the new i10 now comes with two advanced features to actively avoid accidents, both based on the new multi-functional camera: a Front Collision Warning System (FCWS) and a Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) (optional on most trims). Using front camera sensors, FCWS alerts the driver acoustically and visually about collision dangers arising from other vehicles. Lane Departure Warning alerts the driver if unsafe movements are made while the car is driving over 60 km/h. The LDWS sounds an alarm before the car moves over lane markings.
Under the hood, the Euro-spec Hyundai Grand i10 face-lift comes with the choice of two petrol engines - 1.0-litre and 1.25-litre. Both the motors come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard or an optional 4-speed automatic transmission. In India, the car will get the same petrol and diesel engines that do duty in the outgoing model.

A lot of these features might not even make it to the India-spec model.

The articles don't talk about the launch date in India.
Any inside info on when it is going to happen?

Hyundai were going great with their designs. But losing track here. The current model looks much better, and I would take that any day.

The rear bumper now reminds me of the Nano XTA.

Btw, are those high-mount fogs or additional lamps ? The fogs seem to continue in the traditional position in the bumper.

The ones near the headlamps are LED DRLs (this is clearer in the video posted by RavenAvi). The front fog lamps are indeed located in their regular slots.
