With the recent products of Tata becoming a huge success, I wouldn't be surprised by this. And with all the teasers from Tata, it just makes us even more curious.

We Indians are really curious people. Whenever we have a really awesome product from a manufacturer, we always look forward to getting something even better from that manufacturer, and this just proves it.

P.S: I don't mean to offend anyone's feelings here. These are just my views.

There's no parking problem. Parkings are organised a couple of kms before the India Expo Mart and then you have to take a bus till there.(Bus Service provided by them)

Kia Teases New SP Concept Ahead Of Auto Expo Debut.

This will be KIA's first product for India and will rival Hyundai's Creta. Rumored to be based on a new platform which will also underpin the next GEN Creta.

The SUV will go in production in 2019.

Kia has a new SUV concept in the works, but it’s not bringing it to Chicago, or Geneva, or any of the other major international shows coming up that you might expect. This one’s destined for the Auto Expo show in New Delhi.

Called the Kia SP Concept, the little crossover previews a new model that the Korean automaker is developing specifically for the Indian market. That’s new territory for Kia, considering that the show (set to open in little over a week) will mark the manufacturer’s debut in India.

Yes. If that is the design it looks bad for a big SUV. It looks like an overgrown Nexon with all quirkiness removed. Hope at least front is not like the one shown above. It deserve a bit aggressive front frill design. It may look close to final design since it is published in Autocar. They normally get access to Tata cars bit early comparing to others (Nexon review is the best example).

the manufacturer decided to go with Fiat’s 2.0 Multijet diesel, already seen under the hood of the Jeep Compass. The advantage of this engine is that it is already heavily localised and in production at Fiat’s high-tech facility in Rajangaon. So it is capable, comparatively affordable and a known quantity. The engine isn’t the most silent unit around, but like all Fiat diesels, it is very efficient and has a punchy mid-range which should make it fun to drive.

Tata will use a lower-powered 140hp engine onthe H5 that will come out first, followed by the H7 with a more powerful 180hp unit.

Also on the cards is ZF’s soon to be locally produced nine-speed automatic transmission, a gearbox Jeep will also use in the Compass. Known as the 9HP, this gearbox has been designed to work along with a four-wheel-drive system from scratch

Tata, however, will use its own 4x4 system and not one taken from Land Rover.

Hyundai confirms Kona, Ioniq, face-lift i20 and a slew of other cars for Auto Expo.

The brand is set to display 15 new cars at the event – from the i20 facelift that comes with an optional CVT automatic, the Ioniq sedan that is available internationally as a hybrid, plug-in hybrid or all-electric model, to the Kona EV SUV and one of their new N-badged performance cars, which is likely to be either the new Veloster N or the i30 N. The manufacturer’s India line-up, which includes the Eon, Grand i10, i20, Active i20, Xcent, Verna, Elantra, Creta and Tucson, are also expected to be on display.

Comparing Kia's offering with this rendering (I hope its just a rendering), Kia may just steel Tata's thunder!


PS: This rendering looks too much inspired by XUV (side). I dont feel its correct.

For a second, I thought it was the XUV5OO, till I paid attention to the front. The design appears simple and non-fussy. Is it a 5-seater/ 7-seater?

@H5 rendering -I too feel this rendering to be incorrect (and sincerely hope it is)
I,for one, am waiting eagerly for the seven seater offering from Tata, which remains the prime contender as my Storme replacement.The sheer space and glass house in Safari have spoilt me bad.
With the Tiago, Nexon and Hexa, TML have shown some drastic improvement in the right direction of product quality and some commercial success in respective segments.The new 2018 SUVs must be a good demonstration of all the lessons learnt and homework done.Pray, tata doesn't delay launch of the new SUVs post Auto Expo, like in the past.
I'm heading to the expo on business hours Friday (earliest I could book) to catch a glimpse of these first hand.Let s hope it lives up to the expectations.

P.S Anyone knows a cauldron where Hexa can be transfused into the Storme, let me know.Ill take that!

Mahindra to debut convertible SUV concept at Auto Expo 2018.



Mahindra has made it a habit to catch the media and general public by surprise with its concept cars at the Auto Expo, so this time too it has something in store - Mahindra will showcase a sub-4m convertible SUV based on the TUV300 platform
