Default Sight for Sore Eyes..State of the New Cars in the Dealer's Yard

Would you buy these cars as new ? the fact is someone somewhere is going to buy it, not knowing how badly it was treated before it was cleaned & waxed for the PDI. Dont they (the cars) deserve better care ? i have seen more awful yards. this is just a sample.

comments, please.

Hey Esteem_Lover,

I live in a place close to where the FORD factory is situated in Chennai.(MM Nagar) plant.I have seen much worse cars. They are wholly englufed in Dust and the way they are treated are really bad that too when they are loaded/unloaded from the trucks which used to haul them

Default awful

Yes i've seen this before and its really saddening to see how these beautiful cars are treated before the custiomer sees in and actually buys it.I guess most of the dealers do the same.

I have even seen tata safari's being driven from belgaum to bangalore with a 'temp regd' badge on it and believe me, those cars look aged and sad.I wish dealers would share the same passion we have for car and take care of them as if they were their own! i guess they would never do that.(not generalising).

nice pics

Got the reason. When you open the image url, it says 'Sorry, this GeoCities site is currently unavailable.' I wish you could have downloaded and uploaded those images somewhere else. Anyways, lets see if this site goes up again.

All bangalore boys, while going to Electronics city you can see the dakshin honda showroom. All their cars are kept in the open in an open ground. If theres rain then they are on mud. Otherwise if you see the amount of dust on the cars you'll come to know.
Really bad. The road to get till the showroom is so bad and the way the mechanics drive it is horrid.
Once while unloading a civic from the truck the civic actually slipped from the ramp and was hanging in between. god knows what they did with that car.
Isn't there anything that can be done? It's really frightful and disheartening to know how a car which you have spent lakhs for has been treated before taking delivery.

Does anyone have any info on how long (average) these cars are stored in the yard before being taken to the dealership / showroom? I've heard they sometimes have "vintage stock" that doesnt get cleared for a couple of months or more!

This is really sad...On my way to work, through Trivandrum byepass, I see the sight of 100s of maruti vehicles waiting in the yards, to be sold sometime...the condition of the cars are pretty bad..they lie there whether its rains or sun...

After paying so much money for the so called 'new' cars, doesnt the customer deserve a better treated car?
