Yes. The website was posted earlier too. The Logan is no *stupid* car. It is roomy, looks are not bad, interior appears good from the pictures. It is a nice car from Mahindra Renault

When we look at the Logan prices from the Indigo point of view its surely costlier. But the quality, fit and finish, reliability, refinement can be expected also surely be on par with others like Chevy, Verna etc. Man, its having a Renault body and soul with Mahindra engg backup. Although has a bad reputation on its realiability/durability even in Europe, but European cars one of the best road handlers with solid foot.

Mahindra engg/A.S.S + European handling + bonus a very big and roomy car = actually I can see a very fair deal.

On the other side, Tata engg, Tata reliability, Tata handling and TATA A.S.S. what you will expect?

No offence pls...

When comparing with Fiesta/Optra/Aveo/Verna I find Logan cheaper.

If I need to rank the cars in this range :
1. Verna/SX4 (as I drive a wagon SX4...I can assume the quality/finish we are going to get)
2. Logan (if Renault went on its own, this will get 4. Because of Mahindra's Engg/A.S.S, i give 2)
3. Fiesta
4. Aveo sedan

After having seen 4 Logans on the road in the past 4 days (2 black, one red, one silver), I must say it's a bit odd looking. But spacious. I guess the looks will grow on most people over time.

And it seems like good value.

In today's Times Auto section, they had a front page article on how the Logan could possibly eat into the market shares of its competitors. Quotes from the respective top people of Hyundai, Ford , Maruti and Tata all implied that they welcome the competition, but they wouldnt be slashing prices on their models for the time being. Looks like its the SX4 which is touted to be more of a competitor.

Lets wait and watch.

I watched the Car and Bike show..where I saw the presenter drolling over space and design.
The diesel seem to be peppy ( I am going to test drive it, so I can rely on my experience)

But a ground clearance of 155 (What were they thinking!!!!)
IT will scrap through every big speed braker in Bangalore for sure....

Bijoy claims 20 kpl FE on the diesel and 0-100 of 18 odd secs after doing a 600 km test drive. Lets hope he is right.

i wouldn't expect anything less than 20 kmpl from the Logan on the highway with full load, A/C on and speed of 85-95, or 13-15 kmpl in city. For a Common Rail diesel these kind of figures ought to be par for the course.

I would be disappointed if otherwise, especially considering how this engine has been flagged off for being super efficient.

And gutless too. 65 bhp on a 3 box car? It's saving grace had better be good economy.

Both SAE and NHTSA/EPA have recomendations on how cars should be measured.

Its ARAI's job to implement this in India.
