Nice Job Tushky, its not very clear by the pics because of all the camouflage that they use, do you think it looks better than a traveller, how is the build quality.

Btw it is going to be launched with 3.0 Dicor and will be launched in July/Aug.

Thanks tushky but surely it cant be a prototype they are planning to launch it in July (unless they are planning to go the TL/Safari 2.2 L way).

Would not be surprising at all. M&M apparently already have a common rail version in their 'school bus' vehicle. I think it is either the 'FC' or the Allwyn Nissan. I was surprised when I heard this at a local Scorpio dealer

Guys

The Tata renault traffic will be launched on 18th June, the pricing is supposed to be very attractive somewhere in the range of 4.5 to 6.5 lakhs depending on the trims, it will be launched in 9, 12, 15 seater versions, the top of the line will have an AC and a Dicor engine. It will be called Winger.

On the heels of product repositioning, I am trying to understand if this has any implication about any existing product in Tata Range, namely the 407/410.

What utility can the open load bay serve, which the closed van body (even high roof) cannot serve?

4.7L!! pricing seems to be a killer, with a diesel engine, it will surely take the taxi segment by storm

The 4.7 lakh Winger is going to make Toyota run for cover. All those taxi operator who were using the Innova base version till date as Taxi now have their wet dreams come true. A diesel people's carrier from Tata at 4.7 lakh.

Run Toyota run.

P.S. : At this rate Tatas will probably end up doing an encore on their successful 407 story when they drove out all the japanese LCVs out of the market. Only that this time the dream seems to be bigger. With 11 variants there will be versions that individual buyers who earlier had to look at Verna will now hanker for.

I really wonder where Tatas learnt to price their products so seductively! Competition can hardly do much... poor guys.

We will all have to admit the fit and finish is far better than the spy pics that we had on this thread. Tell you what guys its not just the Innova that is in trouble, I feel the following are in trouble.

1. Innova
2. Scorpio
3. Trax
4. Sumo
5. Balero
6. Versa

and for sure the traveller.
