Can you get car back even if you have taken insurance claim? - Team-BHP

Hi Guys,

I am back after long... if u guys remember i had posted some months back about my 800 being stolen... it has been now 6 months... we have even got the claim of it... today we came to know it has been traced.... can anyone tell me if it is possible to get your car back even after taking claim ( of course on returning the claim only )

Please help me here....

As far as i know, Once the claim has been settled the damaged/stolen article is the property of the insurance chaps. i dont think you can lay any claim on that.

Udit your ram pyaari may be same from outside but you dont know how many organs have been replaced/sold/stolen by now.

let her go. there will be other ram dularis out there.

Everything is possible in India if you have a little moolah. there is nothing that cant be worked out. call the insurance folks & get it back if it is so important to you. But you will have to spend a lot more than you think

AFAIK, the car now belongs to the insurance company and they will soon auction it on a As is where is basis. Maybe you can buy it off them.
