Lovely looking Palio in white. I have a 1.2 ELX in white.

Was this repainted? How did you spend to get the car back to this shape.

This color is from Glasurit used on MERCEDES SLS AMG Panamericana wanted something in White ( originally Glacier White ) a color that is not used in this country and went ahead repainting the whole car. Costs are crazily overshot, to give out a figure, it certainly has crossed a Lac.

1) Complete Mechanical overhaul ( engine untouched as its just done 50,000 kms) but all the components changed

2) Full Re-spray

3) Complete Carpeting and upholstery

4) All new Cosmetic parts bought new

Interiors were inspired by SidIndica's Red Beluga ( Punto )

Fantastic job on the restoration, the Palio has a timeless design and it still looks lot more fresh and better than most of the best selling hatchbacks now

This white color looks brilliant on the car. It will be great if I get a chance to see the car in person (and drive it?) when I am in BLR next time!

Super work there in getting it back to shape. Can I get to meet you and your GTX in person. If yes, kindly pm me, we can take it offline.

Stunning restoration. Could you answer the below questions?

1. Which garage worked on the mechanical bits?
2. Total cost of mechanical replacements?
3. Cost of buying?
4. Total amount spent after buying?

Congrats on your purchase. Rear round FIAT logo wont come for GTX. AFAIK it was introduced in 2006

That is a splendid restoration job Pavan. And white makes her look as regal and timeless as it gets. Enjoy your Italian steed!

Btw would you mind giving us a ballpark of costs you incurred? Happy to take this offline, if you'd like.

Hearty congratulations Pavan,

Wonderful restoration work that you have done. My baby is laying idle for the last 4 months and hope to get back her on to highways as soon as I return.

Its always a joy to drive the 1.6 machine.

Wish you many more happy miles and ownership experience.

Drive safe

Regards
Ravi

Fantastic restoration. Even after all these years, a Palio in white looks great. Timeless!
