The 1.3 ddis/multijet has a variant which produces 90bhp[dont know if maruti engineers will tune this to about 100],so considering fuel efficiency is of paramount importance to the Indian buyer actually this is not that bad a thing actually.

Remember that they also tuned the 1.3 from 70 to 75... May be, they can tune the 1.3 with VGT from 90- 100...

100 bhp, ~200 Nm torque, and fuel efficiency thats crazy (I have a wagonR... How i hate it when bigger cars with more power and torque prove half as expensive to run!!!)... Seems like another winner...

Is there any place to get specs on the SX-4? Will it have an auto version or only the manual?

Turning radius as much as the Toyota Innova for a sedan.

PS: The NHC has a turning radius of 4.9m

That's quite a high kerb weight figure if you're comparing it to the NHC.

80KW = 107 BHP

With that kind of weight & power I guess you guys can do the math with regards to the expected performance.

My friend went to Sai Service in Mumbai to look at Wagon R. The sales person told that new Baleno will be there in April-end and the sales people have been trained. He said that the new Baleno will be smaller(slightly) than old baleno but bigger than Esteem. But from the photos on this thread it looks bigger than Old Baleno. Let us wait & watch.

Thats around 90.4 BHP/Ton, not impressive if you go by the current PTW of the OMG, but compare that to the Vtec's which is around 95BHP/Ton, so performance wont be stroming for sure

Hi Friends

Most of the sites are pointing that the new Baleno Suzuki SX4 shall be priced in range of 6-->7.5L. From the chinese website for the sedan, I just put a comparison together for the dimensions of SX4 with the existing sedans
The order is
So here it goes

SX4 Corolla Civic City Baleno
Length 4490 4530 4545 4390 4225
Width 1730 1490 1750 1695 1690
Height 1555 1705 1450 1495 1390
Ground 175 170 170 160 170
Clearance

From the look of it, SX4 is beaten by width only by CIVIC and really should create a storm in the segment if is really priced that way. It looks like CITY shall have a tough competition at lastl

Regards
POGU
