  • Dzire (it looks ugly especially from the back)
Yes, Palio is definately under-rated, ignoring the pathetic A.S.S. from Fiat, at the time of its launch there was little that went against the great car.

And, Fiesta1.6 too is a great car, but its not only the S version, all the 1.6 litre petrol fiesta hardly sell, diesel variant being the very preffered choice.

Coming to Laura, well its small compared to Accords/Emberas but for the equipment it offers the price isn't unreasonable, yes its not VFM either.

Finally, coming to Dzire, from what I feel (and I maybe incorrect) Dzire is not over-rated. Yes. its looks are far from entincing but every car has its weak points. Although debatable but in many aspects its better than what Indigos/Logans/IKON tdci has to offer.

Regards.

That's like saying Sambhar from Punjab is better than Sambhar from Chennai
Hilarious. But makes sense as both have engines done by fiat.

Another underrated car is linea too but performs to finesse.

It indeed is overrated. Its just a Swift with the boot pasted with no change to wheelbase or suspension. In case of Indigo the wheelbase and full rear suspension was altered compared to Indica.

While the DDiS vs MJD debate can go on with no end in sight, Sambar from Chennai is definitely better than anyplace else - even neighbouring Kerala. Just like Aloo-Paranthas up north would give the ones in Chennai a run for their money.

That's a bit surprising considering the fun you are having with the Gurkha

Spark comes to my mind as being underrrated as well... its better than the Wagon-R and Estillo duo from Maruti and much more refined too.

I wouldn't call the Pajero overrated - not too many people use anywhere close to all of it capability for it to be that. Overpriced given that it is a much older design, perhaps. But then, with all the issues it carries with it, so is the Safari!
PS: Some have travelled well to Ladakh, maybe one of their owners could speak better to this.
