Spy Pics- Tata Hispano Bus - Team-BHP

yesterday, after Tbhp meet, when we were on the way to pune . we saw Tata Hispano bus on NH4. today i cought some pics. the bus really look nice. even much better than the volvo n kinglong. quality of the bus is also good. sorry i failed to catch the photo from side view. coz the driver came thr that time.

Nice.. So TATA is finally giving Volvo some competition..Not in the features side maybe but definately in pricing..

I remember seeing this bus on our way back. Tushky wanted me to stop and take a U-turn to the bus, while the U-turn was too far away I did not adhere to his request. We came back to Pune and this lad went back to the location on his bike!!! Hats off to his passion. Cheers.

I wonder where the driver was when you took that fabulous pic of its facia?! Being that close to the action it'd have been awesome if you'd test driven the bus before the driver came back!

thats why...

the driver was sleeping in the bus, but when i crossed the road to take some more pics , he came n asked me to delete all the pictures. i said yes sir, n i deleted some other old pictures from my cell.

If the driver was sleeping, then company seems to not be worried about pre-launch secrecy of their models. It looks more like they want to give a not-so-sneak preview of their up-coming models.

I was wondering why the bus in the spy pic was looking so ordinary compared to the one displayed at the Auto Expo... See the differences... Tata has resorted to cheaper quality materials (headlamps, mirrors, grilles, foglamps) to cut down costs. It seems that the production model will have the same lamps/grille as that of the test mule.. cause they look production ready...

I fully agree with Salil Pawar.

This bus looks hardly different from the traditional "luxury-looks-but-substandard-quality" buses from Indian bus body builders. The original Hispano displayed at the Auto Expo looked much better.

Why does Tata have to incorporate the Indica grill (or its derivatives) in every thing they make? Come on guys, be innovative.

And i saw two nos. of the some suv/muv cruising at a constant 110 km/h (that was the speed i was constantly at too) while i was driving to pune the same morning.

The bus looks nice but the dashboard OMG see how many switches it has, looks electricity board's switchboard

They have manged to make it look like the Volvo, lets see whether it performs even close to a Volvo
