Ford Ikon CNG - Team-BHP

Has the Ford Ikon CNG version been launched? I happened to visit the Ford India website to see how the new Ikon looks like and there I saw another listing on the Ikon CNG. Nothing has been said on the price. It just contains the advantages of going in for CNG along with safety considerations.

Any idea on what the price could be?

I think it was launched in Dec'06

Dont think there is any differnce in the looks... However, the new 2007 ikon, seems to have better interiors...

ikon CNG was launched some time back... Remember reading it in the papers...

The on road price of IKON CNG should be around 5.75L

I am seriously considering buying IKON CNG very soon. This is going to be my first car. I stay at Kalyan / Thane / Mumbai.

Few points which I am considering to look at IKON CNG is:
1. Daily run appx. 80-90km (Highway + City)
2. The only sedan with factory fitted CNG / LPG
3. Cost (My budget is max. 6L)

I am concerned about following points:
1. Maintainence cost
2. Performance
3. Queue at CNG pumps (are there queues in Mumbai/Thane for CNG)
4. Resale value (after 3-4 years)

There may be many more advantages / disavantages of IKON CNG which I don't know.

Please advise.
Has anyone done test drive / road test report?
