How much do you spend on fuel every month - Team-BHP

I was filling up my bike last night and was calculating how much I spent on fuel in March. That's when I thought about starting this thread to see how far above or below average my fuel expenses compared to the rest.

This poll should give us a rough indication as to how much we spend on transport every month.

If you have multiple cars/bikes, vote for the total of all in the poll, and note down the break up in your post. Remember, this would be your average monthly expense, so some months where you may have driven an exceptional amount should not influence your figures here.

To start off with, my expense on a monthly average are:

ZZR400: Rs.2,500/month.
Octavia 1.9TDi: Rs.800/month
Total: Rs.3,300/month

i spend around 1500-2000 in the zen and close to 800 for my pulsar.so total comes to about 2500.

I drive around 1500kms/month, and fuel cost comes to around 3000-3500
This is a Tata indica.

Palio 1.6 - Rs. 2,500/-
Honda Unicorn - Rs. 1,000/-

Total - Rs. 3,500/- This is an approximation and I end up spending more on some months but the average is around Rs. 3,000 - 3,500/-

Vtec : 4000
Indigo : 5000
Jeep : 1500

Fuel bills were sky-rocketing before the Indigo arrived; now most of the general running is taken care of by her.

this poll can also give approx indication of how much TEAM BHP contributes to ,
1) state govt taxes
2) central govt taxes
3) oil company coffers
4) education levels in india ( remember there is an education cess on all taxes )
5) good roads ( there is a road dev cess also )
