This one is confusing! I think I would go in for the Alfa Romeo GT! Fast, sexy, it's Italian! and those red instrument cluster lights would feel soo different!
BUUUTTTT, wait, there is another car i wanna buy!! The new VW Beetle! Cute and different and ya it would turn heads whereever u go/drive. but then so would the Alfa! Heck! i am confused! It's kind of having to decide if i would like Bipasha Basu or Yana Gupta as my gf!

But that would be one free flowing exhaust that I would not like the sound of...though the intake is to die for D

hi

it has got to be the SUV given our road conditions...it should b in 4 wheel drive all the time the way our roads r especially in monsoon !
I'd choose the Toyota Landcruiser or LX 470...my ultimate in SUV luxury on this side on cayenne!

My ideal city car would be a hot hatch. Which one to choose from is a bit tougher. i'll get back to you'll on this.

UPDATE: Well, after getting some time to think about it...
First choice would be the Alfa 147 GTA. Amazing looks, power and handling, but that typical italian build quality would mean its not a viable solution for India.

Ford Focus RS:
Love the looks, decent power and roomy inside as well. But, only front wheel drive makes this a Cosworth wannabe.

Clio V6:
Awesome concept, but looses out on the practicality area.

Civic Type R:
That engine! those looks :(

So, to end on what I would love to drive, everyday of the week in all conditions, it would be the Honda Integra Type R. Ok, not exactly a hot hatch, but it is still a hatch, has four seats and goes like hell!

Keep your Evo's and STi's, I much prefer a high revving naturally aspirated engine to a turbo.

Now, what should I do with all that money I saved....

same with me - it's got to be small - to medium size, superb drive, high FE and high speed town and country cruising capabilities

for now my heart is set on the chrysler PT cruiser - if i forget the FE part - as GTO said - i will then have enuff money for the fuel bills for the rest of my life - and hopefully bipasha basu in the front seat!

till that time - mighty happy with my palio d
