Good choice, presuming you are on the lookout for yourself. Immensely fun to drive and relatively cheap to run - both of these cars. I would personally go for the 90's+ MR2, with its drop-dead gorgeous looks, Toyota build quality and if possible...the turbo charged engine!

Yeah the Mazda could be had for around 5-6 laks a decent example and the Mr2 should cost a bit more. Theyre actually pretty cool cars cause you get a convertible for low price and if you get a Toyota, you have the Toyota reliability though Mazda is Japanese as well. You could go for either of them

Cheers

The mid 90's MR2 looks great but the handling was supposed to be slightly flawed compared to the old one. I used to use one that belonged to my cousin but that had no problem

I havent driven the previous gen MR2, but I have had a very aggressive stint in a 1993 Black MR2...it was one of the best drives of my life. I usually take a while before getting accustomed to a cars "fit", braking, acceleration and handling. But that Black beauty was like a hand in glove fit for me. Didnt see any serious handling issues.

Yes V12, the M(mid-engine) R (rear wheel drive) 2 (seater) is a mid engine sports car.
