Interesting! Now you think people are lying? So, to what extent are you gonna try to prove that your statement (an incorrect assumption) is correct?

Well, here is the proof from me:

eBay.co.uk: Fiat Palio Left Hand Drive (item 140089069001 end time 22-Jun-07 16:59:33 BST)

comparis.ch - Car market: cars (secondhand, new)

comparis.ch - Car market: cars (secondhand, new)

Steeroid, better get your facts correct before you "doubt" somebodies statements.

erm.. Importing a car into UK is a common practice, like in the rest of the world. AFAIK, Fiat Palio was never sold in UK BY Fiat UK. Besides why would they when they had the Punto.

I have personally spotted a few Palios in Budapest, Hungary (Suzuki has a Swift factory here).. But then I dont want to get into a debate on whether Hungary is a first, second or third world country.

Well I guess you didn't proof-read your own proof! Let me quote for your reference:

Please look at what you're posting thoroughly & then point allegations at others. The Palio was NOT sold in the UK, ever.

Possibly true

My claim was : "I've personally seen several Palio Siena Weekend(s) in Switzerland!". So I hope the links prove this claim.

Links or no links I am sure that as of today FIAT ltd. is not selling the Palio or sister cars anywhere in developed countries?

Correct. The 178 platform is only for "developing countries".

Dear all, I wasn't talking about UK. Is it that hard to understand?

Sir, with due respect, there were statements that the Palio weekend was never sold in a developed European country. The links provided by me clearly proves that this claim is wrong. More over I only was only talking about Swiss.
I never mentioned about UK? I hope it is clear.

Can some moderator close this thread?

It is serving no purpose with some really ridiculous statements being thrown around either ways. Lot of the discussion has been off topic and people taking things rather personally.

If you are having fun and insist that you want to have fun, visit Official Joke thread, but spare quality of this forum.
