any day i would pick the skoda superb "diesel"!(yes there is a diesel option too) coz there are far too many accords in hyd
plus here i get hell a lot of space and economy of diesel too
or else it would be the merc c220 cdi
or the new sonata with the terracan's diesel engine!

if you were hoping for a hell lot of space in octavia then you'd be dissapointed..its not that spacious..infact its pretty tight at the rear...space similar to midsize cars..nothing extraordinary...but awesom awesome car!! i'm myself a lover of that car...the kind of economy the diesel gives is really difficult to believe!

well lets put it this way honda reliability or skida uncertainity. after all the car skoda does look like a run of mill like octavia. so a person who spends soo much money is just gona end up with a car that looks like a octavia.
atleast the accord has a different side mirriors, imean with indicators on them. they look slick on accord..

definitely the accord ..even the average isnt bad !!!!!

The Superb, I think, will have a tough time getting conquest customers. Car sales will depend a lot on owner loyalty and returning customers; or the many people who argue that the Jap cars lack a character.
An Audi A4 would be a more worthy competitor in this segment.

Welll.. for me .. its definately the Accord... i love its brute looks.. well.. not that the Superb is bad... but its looks aint that good compared to the Accord...Secondly.. i think Skoda are taking too much time to launch the Superb!

well skoda is definitely value for money if u look into the amount of gadgets they stuff into it. it even makes a eclas look redundant. but guys do u actually need a car that still has a faulty service team and the name of country where its made. i mean can anyone spell the d*** countrys name...! anways i wouldnt be caught dead in one cause it looks too much like its older sibling.
but the new skoda one coming out in 2005 is the one to go for..but sadly by the time its released ..its gonna be outdated too..! anyways i thimk the xenons look great..! thats gonaa keep people loooking at the car.
heard the service of the car is every 10,000 kms. man what r these putting in the hoods

Not size wise. The Superb is much bigger and spacious than the Audi A4.

The Superb does look like the Octavia. If Skoda has given a facelift to the Octavia, i'm sure they are gonna facelift the Superb too. Just hope that they do that soon and then launch it in India.

The Vectra is a good car, but is small for a D segment car. Ya there are discounts on the Vectra, Camry and Mondeo. But these cars havent sold much in the market. So i wudnt suggest you to buy any of these.

Buy the Accord V6.
