China has long overtaken to become the largest car market in the world.

M&M seem to have got the verdict in it's favor against GV (though the other law suit by five dealers remain)

Quote:
After appealing against claims by Global vehicles (GV) of US, India's Mahindra& Mahindra has announced they have been successfully challenged the claims by GV. The appeal culminated with the awarding of an arbitration amount of $2 million in the favour of Mahindra.

Mahindra has been working on the Eagle engine platform to fine tune it to Tier2 Bin5 emission norms. They have a daunting task to achieve "in engine" emission target as well as in after treatment space. However in my opinion the mechanical reliability of the engine components plays a big role to achieve the target..!

Look's like Mahindra is giving another shot at the Lucrative yet high risk US market.
Quote:
M&M is readying for full-fledged US push given that its earlier legal cases have now all been sorted out. Mahindra's US foray is being spear-headed by Mahindra North American Technical Centre (MNATC), the company's R&D centre in Detroit, which is currently working on two separate products, one for the Indian market and another entirely for the US market.
