This is great. It does look like a proper car. I will brace for more congestion on already congested Bangalore roads

Awesome Steer simply fantastic. It is a proper car and I'm surely Tata will be able to pull it off in a big way. My guess is either a 600 or 800 cc engine for this one. But I'm hell sure it will replace a lot of two wheelers on the road.

The only concern is that traffic will increase in a huge huge way.

From hearsay, I can tell you that it is going to be a 600cc diesel with good potential of a turbo-charger. Reminds you of the smart car, eh?

About the engine, its the turbo-charged version of the Ace's motor.
My friend and BHPIAN is involved in the production!

Nice scoop steer, its the most awaited news in the automobile industry since last year or so. Though the snap is not very clear and couldnt make out the exact shape of the car

I have seen the car myself.It looks good,its small but looks good.It will have a 2 Cylinder Diesel Engine.Max speed is supposedly 80 KM/Hr.
Also saw new Indigo, Its looks AWESOME !!! the front is fantabulous.
3-4 Models are expected in 2008.
No pics obviously as they arent allowed

at 26-30kmpl - if thats indeed the case - on top of the 1Lac-ish initial price, u think it matters how it looks ? I think Tata has a winner here....hopefully will replace more call centre/office cabs than personal cars. They could do with a downsizing.
