The car seems so big and wheels seem so small!

i think we were on the same road today. i too spotted the same vehicle on this road. the engine noise is silent.

@tushky: nice, so did you see the White Range Rover Sport at the same time? The engine noise is definitely coarse under acceleration.

Yes, the car seems quite big. Seems to be bigger than the present Indica.

This Indica X1 looks a little bit like a swift from this angle.

Tushky,

Did you not take any pictures?
Has no one got a clearer picture?

Tata seem to have upgraded their camouflaging techniques. After those ghastly initial panels / lights, they have used some decent and effective covers for the cars. They use some sticky white paper on other models like Sumo, Xenon.

Damn! Tata is learning! Bad for our spying eyes.

Looks like standard 13 inch steel wheels. Tata have apparently increased the wheelbase too, their USP for this car seems to be internal volume. A worthy Indica replacement.

Default Next gen Indica

Yesterday, I was heading towards Talegaon (on NH-4) to look at the progress of my Row House. On the way I spotted a test car. It sure was the next Gen Indica. The headlights reminded me of Ford Mondeo one's, sharp, cat-eyed. The rear looked like a Fusion, though not as flat.

On the way back home, spotted a couple of them again. Looks like aggressive testing is on. They did not have any camouflage cloth wrapped around. Bare-baked. I slowed down to take a closer look, but the guy was quick to realise that my prying eyes were catching a glimpse of the car. He sped away and I did not bother catching up.

Sooner or later, we might see some pics on this forum. I did not have a camera handy, hence could not click.

Thanks for the info buddy. Indica X1 has been under test since last few months. It was supposed to be launched in July. I wonder why its delayed. Hope its launched before the Nano.
