Montoya,

the reason i drove at 80 kmph was that i was remote controlled from the back seat ! and the times i hit 130 was when the family was busy and diverted talking away !

cheers

Same thing happens with me though speed limit is 120 for me but once wasnot told anything when driving at 140. but later i heard the backseaters saying that there was no use telling me to slow it was better to pray for safety

Default Too low fuel consumption

I just got a new Alto a week back. It has just done 460 kms with one full tank (35 liters) and is still running . The fuel gauge is still about an inch over the red mark. Being a new car is such a figure normal?

I had been driving it all around Kolkata city (congested places) with almost 70% AC on. Is it normal? I have heard that new cars generally give lesser mileage in the first 1000 to 2000 kms.

My
Alto: Best- 17(highway), worst 11(within city) with AC.
Vtec: Best- 21(highway), worst 10.5(within city) with AC.
Lancer(dads company provided-Diesel): Best 17(highway), worst-9(within city) with AC.
I have considered city and highway both with 50% aircon usage.
